The Mondéry Farm has been passed down through generations since the 17th century... right up to the present day! In the past, our ancestors produced Armagnac, wine, cereals, and more recently, pedigree calves. After a twenty-year hiatus that left the farm's future uncertain, we have breathed new life into the estate with a small-scale agricultural project: a flock of Angora goats and market gardening.

In the sunny yet lush climate of the Gers region, our 30 Angora goats graze for most of the year across 5 hectares of pasture, with hay harvested from 5 neighboring hectares. Their fleeces are shorn twice a year. We produce this mohair to create high-end yarns and luxury textiles (see "Processing").

On our clay hillsides, our vegetables take their time to grow, drawing flavor from the rich, fertile soil. We also make the most of what the land provides, such as our restored heirloom orchard, used to produce artisanal jams.

It is a busy life, but one that allows us to live healthily while offering products of exceptional quality!
